Do Link Wheels Help With Your SEO Campaign?

SEO is something that is always changing and never constant. The main goal with this is to secure a good rank in the search results of Google. But the fact is that Google always changes the algorithm they use to rank pages. They do this in a very seamless way which is surprising given the sheer amount of data that they have to process.

Website owners sometimes try to understand how Google works and try to manipulate it to get their ranking a good boost. This may cost you some time and you have to learn to be patient but the rewards are worth it. If you are able to get that top rank on Google, you can get so much traffic on your website which would then translate to sales. You can earn from either working on somebody else’s SEO campaign or doing it from your own site and collecting advertising revenue.

A link wheel is a method that was being practiced since the past year at the least. Link wheels work by creating various layers in websites that you wish to rank higher. Included here are blogs, forums, social media websites, and Web 2.0. An SEO expert would create these properties and link them to a certain page which would then link to another page. People saw how effective this strategy had been so more and more took advantage of it. Google noticed what was happening and reduced the power of the Web 2.0 properties. This is still a workable option however the strategy does need some tweaking.

The best thing you can do with link wheels is to keep it as diverse as possible. People before would create a certain amount of web properties and have them link to one another, reminiscent to a wheel. Now Google can see if all of the properties have links to your site.

The way to go around this is to keep the properties as random as possible and the links just as random. This will help you avoid leaving traces that Google can detect. Think about how you can be chaotic when creating your Web 2.0 properties and when linking them to others. For example, give site C a link from site A instead of one from site B. Play around with the various combinations.

Google is beginning to take heed of this strategy as well so be prepared to change your tactics. Use various page titles, usernames, and sub domain names within the content that you have. Keep the content as unique as possible because duplicate content will not get you far. If you wish to succeed in SEO this way, keep it as diverse and random as you can.
